2011 state quarter glacier error coin

    Sorry but your pic is way to far away to make any reasonable comment. If I enlarge it just distorts. Please post a clear close up without all of the extra surrounding the coin.

    We see it now

    That's damage to the Cupronickel clad layers.
    Someone applied extreme heat to the surface and caused bubbles between the clad and the copper core.

    Not a mint error of any kind.

    Please acknowledge that you read my response by liking my comment. I've noticed that in your past threads you don't do that.
    Nor for anyone else.

    Heat causes the clad layers of the coin to expand and separate. When it cools it looks like your coin.
