I wasn't sure whether or not I should post my thank you publicly to @PamR .
After some soul searching and quiet deliberation I decided to put this out there.

Pam is an incredibly thoughtful, generous, and caring person. She posted a thread about helping a friend of hers with a very nice collection of inherited coins. The friend knows nothing about coins and had no desire to keep them. I expressed an interest in some of the coins while talking to Pam and she asked her friend if they wanted to entertain any offers. They agreed.

These were absolutely coins Pam could have kept in her own collection, but she determined that others would appreciate them more than she would. So she acted on both her friends behalf and mine to make everybody happy. The thing is, she included a nice 'extra' that I mentioned I didn't own any and I knew nothing about. And another, just to bring a smile to my face.

So thank you, Pam. You truly help to make this group of online strangers more like a community.

And I'll state the obvious. Pam's photos blow mine away. Sorry for not doing these treasures the justice they deserve.

Take some pliers and crimp those staples completely flat. You don't want their pointy ends coming loose and scratching your nearby coins. Staple scratches are tragic!

I have to agree, I ruined a 1892 TDR Barber half that way many years ago.

Nice coins and I think you are right about her. I also think @lordmarcovan is correct about those staples

Yep. Pam is a treasure to be sure. I absconded with her seated half and she too included a coupla bonus item in my package…. Too early for photos but I am pleased as punch with my half…. Though I did immediately take it from the staple laden 2x2 and put her in my preferred flip.

Thank you. I think it's aging nicely too ,)

    Thanks, Rob.

You're 100% right about the staples. I will address that issue with the help of another great CT member.....

You and Rob are spot on. Thank you for your offer. PM sent. :)

    Thanks, Larry.
Pam's got an undeniable congenial personality.

I didn't think you would have any different of an opinion, my friend.

I thought you were the recipient of that gorgeous Seated Lady ;)
Additional pictures of her would be most welcome.

I speak the truth, ma'am. Just the truth. :)

And a Merry Christmas to you and yours too.
