Well I finished my 12 Caesars (some can be replaced) I used Museum Wax which as you know is used on some the most precious artifacts in the world to guard from earthquake damage.
So it won't ruin the coins if I want to take them out for whatever reason.

I know some of you are could pick out flaws but most people don't know as much as you! lol

I like your frame, but careful with the sun on the glass. Mine is rather plain, but it is what my son had made for me so it has special meaning. Looking at your coins, I can't tell the order you have them placed.

@AngelDeath nice job! Collection and the frame. Folks will be awesomely impressed. You are correct, maybe the "experts" would see "flaws", but that does not matter. YOU have a great set, and who sees it will enjoy it!

Wonderful silver collections @AngelDeath and @Bing !!! And a beautiful presentation!

I'm missing a JC silver portrait and up to the end of a pending auction, I only need a denarii (have a TET) to complete Nero and the 12 in Silver and other metals.

It's kind of cool to finish a project, especially in a desired format and of the most well-known 'Emperors'

    Congrats guys!!!

Just out of interest, what effect would the sun have on the coins?

Not sure about coins, but uv rays damage most everything. My observation just comes from experience I buy/sell sports & memorabelia from famous people from sports to performers. Everything that passes through me gets uv glass or cases because the sun devalues or fades the unprotected. The same for us hence using sunblock.

    Howdy Bing,

What would be the problem with sun?

Not sure if it will do anything. However, I keep mine in a corner of my boookshelf that gets no direct sunlight just as a precaution. Just as all of my coins are stored in a way that they do not see the light of day unless I take them out to do whatever. Again, I really don't know that the sun will do anything. I suppose I should assume that these coins have been through a lot in the last 2000 plus years and many have a protective coating of patina, so the sun probably will do little to harm.

The order is I can see my favorites in the middle to top lol, anything towards the bottom I may replace.

C'mon, you don't want these guys to sunburn...you know how fragile old skin gets!
