Here’s a nice but circulated Liberty Head Nickel. It’s dated 1912-S do it’s the last year they were made for circulation. The nice thing about this are the 2 lamination errors on the obverse. I know your eyes are drawn to the star at 3:00 o’clock and that’s the large lamination. Here’s a closeup of that lamination. It goes from the rim to her hair bonnet and a d Ed mall crack, which is part of the lamination, goes to the star. Both lines are part of the lamination. And here’s the second lamination. It’s just to the right of the 2 in the date. It’s smaller and it looks like damage but the top of the lamination is peeled back snd still attached. The lower portion of the lamination is gone.
I really want one of those. I was gifted one of those 50 years ago. I can’t find it. So sad. 1971 was in Lowell,Ma
