    Just a little friendly forum observation that had nothing to do with you personally, Jack. What you said was so simple, and so very easy to understand, yet seems lost on (at least the vocal) majority here. My apologies for any confusion.

    It isn't that Ebay *won't* remove auctions, it's that they've gutted the manpower department and have nobody around to do it unless you're lucky or have a direct backdoor connection.

    Boy that took longer than expected. I'm guessing they had work to do getting 106 of his listings down.

    It's just like removing all trace of an energetic spammer from a forum - I've spent an hour and a half on single drive-by spammers before. It can be a lot of clicking. :)

    In an earlier post I mentioned that a local jewelry/coin shop had an expensive machine that you put the jewelry/coin in the top, close the lid and it tells you what metals are in the item and what percentage each metal has.

    Several people asked for more information on the machine: Thermo Scientific Precious Metal Analyzer, Model Nitron XL2
