It has been 85 years since the last nickels of this design were made for circulation. So there is a lot of history here!

My dog knows how generous I am. He has two treats.

 

I had a dog that would allow me to do that with treats. He would then, on command, flip them in the air and catch them. Yum Yum.

Entry Post. I have been working a bit on a Buffalo Nickel set from various $.75-$2.00 nickel bins, and as you would imagine I could use some upgrades. I've found a few nice ones in the $.75 bin, 1913 type 1, 1926-S, ect.
And since already own the elongated Buffalo, it would make a cool gift for someone I know....
