    You'd be surprised. I believe all of those are top pops currently except the Muhlhausen, which has some MS examples. They are out there, just not a ton of minor coins certified.

    British King, Edward II, (1307 - 1327) pennies are not that rare, but high grade ones like this are almost never seen. This on is an AU-58.

    I bought this 1806 half dollar at a New York City auction in the mid 1970s. This piece was graded AU-50 at that sale. Today it is in an NGC AU-58 holder. By today's standards, that is an accurate grade. This piece was graded over 20 years ago.

    Who did the original grading ? that’s a huge
    jump 50 to a 58 !

    It was in a Paramount Auction Company sale. Paramount was one of the first companies to use the Sheldon grading scale. This years before PCGS, NGC or even ANACS were on scene. The standards were different then. I think everybody in room thought I overpaid for that coin when I won it.
