is this Considered a minit error happened outside the mint I don't understand there's no way I could compete when it HAS s PMD
As I s MS67?? Anyways, lol. I just see a normal 1976 Quarter but the picture is a little too small to see much. Sorry, silly Willy.
It looks like there may be some wear on the front point of the hat on the reverse and in Washington’s hair on the obverse. Also looks a little worn at the base of his neck. You have the coin in hand, double check those areas for wear. I agree though, that’s a great looking coin though.
Toning occurs after it leaves the US Mint and is desirable among many collectors. Desirable toning occurs when the coin is stored in a special environment. So it's more natural. Altered toning occurs because of harsh chemicals, fire flame such as a blowtorch and also urine. These alterations are PMD and can be distinguished by experienced coin collectors. Don't compare your quarter with the one you have shown
You're making it really hard to understand what you're asking. Can you just make a single post that has a photo of your coin and says "this is my coin, I think I see X in position Y"?
Not a mint error that I can see but it is a beautiful coin, worthy of putting in a flip and keeping. Looks to be struck with a newer die but slightly circulated.
