    I want those round five nickels, for @masterswimmer !

    I went out skiing for the first time this winter on Saturday, along with the boy. I like that I’m 50 , can still conquer the hills, and that the boy (23) has a hard time keeping up with me.

    I remember the days of skiing with my kids. I've got videos of my son at 2-1/2 years old on ski's, between my legs, snowplowing down the bunny slope. My son now has a 7 year old. How time flies. Enjoy every day my friend. And don't blink.

    I want those (lot 5).
    Filing under the heading of five cent pieces, the other day my bank gave me the foreign coin rejects from their coin counter. Two notable coins in this haul were a 1912 V-nickel and a 1881-H Canadian half-dime! It has a portrait of Queen Victoria. I believe these coins were nicknamed fish scales due to their size and thickness. I have two others of these that I found back in 1983 or so but they were King George the fifth if I remember correctly! Not very valuable but really cool!
    I’ll try to grab a picture and edit this post later.

    So now it's time for Round 6, meaning there will be six coins up for grabs.

    (6) Assorted silver Washington quarters.

    Three 1939, two 1958-D, and a 1961-D. Average circulated examples.

    To enter this round, all you need to do is:

    1. Say that you want this lot, and
    2. post something else coin-related or cheerful.

    Then, sometime in the next 2-4 days (depending on my schedule), we'll do the drawing and move on to the next round.

    You may of course say you want it for someone else, if you name that person.

    Looking back, I see that I posted bad pics for Rounds 2, 3, and 4, and nobody said anything until I did it again for Round 5 and @TheNickelGuy thankfully spoke up!

    They should all be fixed now. You see, they were uploaded on a moderator-only board, so only I could see them, but when I pasted them in here, nobody else could! :facepalm:

    Do me a favor, y’all- if you ever can’t see the prize pics, let me know!
