I pulled this from circulation. There are a lot of water spots (can they be removed?), but the only mark I see is the nick under the N in IN on the obverse. The reverse is flawless. The surfaces overall look semi-prooflike.

Are you asking what I would grade it?

I would grade it: small change

Before you start thinking about submitting it for grading, I think you should check, both, census numbers as well as recent sales for the same coin in MS67. I see enough small dings on the obverse that might keep it from grading higher. Then, you should ask yourself, "Will it be worth a lot more than the $40 or so to submit it for grading?".

Well, the 67RD shown on CoinFacts has more nicks on it than yours shows. The problem is those spots adversely affect eye appeal, so I don't think you'll get a 68. I'm not sure if they're easily and safely removed.

That's about what I was expecting. I'll show it to Bill Fivaz on Saturday to get his in-hand input.

66RD, I think the obverse field spots will hold it back.

An absolute waste of money to get this graded.

Give it a light soak in pure acetone and see if it brightens it up.

There are also a lot of reverse spots above "ONE CENT."

Okay, I answered you and then deleted my comments, since you are obviously too ignorant to understand English.

If I am what you claim me to be, then how about everyone else?

    Or would you prefer:

    WOW!

    Yowers!

Send that in to PCGS, Express slabbing, only $125!

    What a winner!

    Go for it!

Chose the answer that you like.

I was hoping for a straight numerical grade answer instead of a snarky comment. I don't care if you said AU-50BN or MS-69RD. I apologize for expecting too much.

    Then ask for it.

Don't apologize, there is no excuse for your attitude.

Fine. I just thought my query was intuitive from the word "grading" in the title.

    Don't like sarcasm, do we?

It's better than the one I've got, so I'm keeping it.

I'd give it a 65RD. Just too many spots on it to grade higher IMHO. Unfortunately, there are some snarky posters around, and a few who think this is the Comedy Central forum. I have a few of them on "ignore."

66 might go 67 if you are lucky.
