Potamikon, the book about man-faced bulls which I wrote with Nicola Sisci, is due this month. For general information, see here:

    http://www.archaeopress.com/Archaeo...asp?id={630D98AF-05CE-4C17-B530-6CD7DF4DA048}

If you are happy with the softcover order directly from Archaeopress (I won't have any of those for sale). About 100 hardcover editions will be available, 50 in the U.S. and 50 in Italy. I'll ship anywhere but it is about $65 to ship a three pound book to Europe. Copies will be available for about $75 each- that's for 354 pages, hard cover, sewn binding.

I'll update this thread when the hardcover books are available to ship. Thanks for looking!

And here is my shrine to Acheloios. So if you live near Massachusetts and want to pick up a copy and visit the shrine, that's ok too ;)

OMG, Ive always wanted a pagan shrine in my house. You are living the life. I love the guilded statue of Acheloios. Nice horns

I'll check the book out. I may be interested in purchasing a copy.

Please do. And if you have any question please ask them.

The shrine is actually in a converted gazebo in the back yard, overlooking a little pond.

I've lots of small shrines throughout the house. My wife thinks they're weird (as do most adults) but my daughter loves them.

Heck of a nice backyard. Makes me want to play a game of croquet :)

As for shrines, at the moment I only have my Sewer Goddess shrine in the guest bathroom. The Elagabalus diorama is currently put away due to messy ongoing concrete repairs.

Makes me think of the work required to mow it. :(

Congrats Nicholas on the publication of this book. I like your shrine, but I was drawn more to that awesome drop leaf table. That is a nice piece!

I'd love to come by for a copy, Nick, but that shrine is a little creepy...:(

    The books are here!!!!

    US Orders:

$100 (shipping included)/$104 if paying by Paypal

    International Orders:

$150 (shipping included), Paypal only. The shipping is an estimate, it won't go over that but might be a little less, depending on the final packaged weight, in which case I'll refund a portion. It is usually around $65 but I sent a 2 lb, 6 oz package to Italy last week and it was only $35. The USPS guy couldn't explain why.

If ordering from Italy or close by, contact siscinico[at]gmail.com

All others contact me at njmolinari[at]gmail.com

In email, please specify if you are paying by check or Paypal (paypal payments send to njmolinari[at]gmail.com), include address and whether or not you want it signed/any other special instructions.

Thanks for all the support everyone [IMG]

    Nick,
I recall you mentioning a limited hard-bound edition. Is that available as well and, if so, at what cost?

I've apparently been spending too much time listening to news reports (and my son). I read "Potamikon" as something else entirely.

For a moment I thought it said Potemkin and wondered why there was a thread about fake villages

When I see "Potemkin" I think of the movie by Sergei Eisenstein.
