Not a perfect example but an affordable one. I only buy paper money because the picture tells a story or because my kids have no idea they ever existed. I enjoy collecting hoarding whatever you call it when you do it in an eclectic fashion. I have several pieces though none very valuable they are pieces you don't get in change too often. Opinions welcome.

The Bureau of Engraving and Printing reduced the size of paper money in 1929, so this was one of the first small sized notes. The front looked familiar with the portrait of Washington, but the back looked "funny" to people -- like monopoly money. In 1935, the BEP redesigned the back to what it looks like now.
Here,s my contribution to the thread a nice 1928 A "Very Crisp"very clean overall but the front margins are horrendous !! probably go 53 or 55 at least
