Who's going to Anaheim?

Me, for one! I'll be at the ANA show from Wednesday through Saturday and it would be great to meet some CT forum members who I only know online. Anyone else plan to be there?

Its funny you don,t know something exists until it comes up for auction here,s another rarity the Series 481 had three printings, well here,s a fourth i guess
no one knew about it even me LOL and look at that expected bid $10-15 K

 

By the way for all you collectors out there this a excellent reffrance book for most all
Notes printed, so i would deffinitley get your hands on one

 

Sorry to be a PITA, but I am still wondering about the shows in Anaheim. The PNG/ANA trade show is Aug 6-8 (Sat - Mon) while the World Fair of Money is Aug 9-13 (Tues - Sat). What is the difference?

 

Interesting -- I wasn't even aware of the first show. I believe the WFoM show will be much larger, as that one is designed to include the public.

 

The PNG show is just for PNG dealers to set up at if they choose to. So it is pretty smaller and very relaxed. Then the rest of the show sets up on Monday for the remainder. You need to be invited to the PNG show in theory, but any PNG dealer will send you an invite if you ask.

 

Anyone who has been to an MPCFEST knows about it. Dick Freyser had his there about ten years ago.

 

I guess its not newly discovered then....LOL

 

Maybe you should call Stocks and Bowers and let them in on the secret i don,t think they went to the MPCFEST

I'll be wandering around after we fly in Tuesday through Friday or Saturday. Have to pick up a catalog with the MPCs in it and mail it home since we fly to Maui on Sunday.
