Have been struggling to attribute this coin correctly. As for now, after celebrating Thanksgiving and several glasses of wine I think it is this:

    Æ 16 or Hemichalkous
    Phoenicia, Arados, Aradian date 116 (144 – 143 BC)
    16 mm, 3.84 g
BMC Greek coins of Phoenicia, p. 18 (in the pdf p. 174), No.136-137; Sear Greek, 6001v; HGCS 10, No. 88; Rouvier 177 (var. different year)

I think it is like this one, but I'm not sure:

Ob.: Anepigraphic. Bearded head of Melqart/Zeus to r. Border of dots.
Rev.: triple-pointed ram of galley to left, Phoenician date 116 (144-143 BC) below; Phoenician letters Nun upload_2023-11-23_22-25-20.png and Ayin upload_2023-11-23_22-25-44.png above. Border of dots.

a picture of the reverse with light effects, trying to see the scrip more clearly:

Can someone help me out of my misery, please:confused:

Please share your coins with Aradian script and how you were able to read it:D

The upper legend is upload_2023-11-25_13-48-54.png , the 1st letter is not an 'ayin but a C, written as a mirrored D.
The date must be 116, because I count 6 strokes (a stroke = 1). The year 116 of the Aradian era is 144/3 BC.

Here is a pic of a coin like yours (not mine) dated year 115 (but there could have been a 6th stroke off flan).

Thank you @GinoLR. However, when you look at the Aradian letters, the letter
Daleth is like this: upload_2023-11-25_16-31-25.png on my coin and also on the coin you posted you can see clearly an ' after the letter [IMG] which is the letter Ayin

I didn't say it was a daleth, I just said it was written like a mirrored D. But you may be right, for several people it's an 'ayin.
