1983 P NO NECK NICKEL

    I found a 1893 p nickel and just for the heck of it I googled it ....In a couple of websites that google provided, they mentioned that Jefferson not having a Adam's apple was an
    error....My nickel's Jefferson did have an Adam's apple so I keep roll hunting and I found this 1983 p nickel....I am so sorry for the pictures...My microscope is freaking out on
    me...Gotta get a new one I guess...But hopefully you can see, Jefferson does not seem
    to have a neck....What do you think?.....I mean....Besides getting better pics...

    I'm not sure I'd call that "no neck", but still... the cause is probably a little over polishing or the like, and is nothing significant.

    I believe that @BooksB4Coins meant that the die was polished. This has happened to other dies like the one that produced the 3-legged buffalo.
