    A short while ago, @Randy Abercrombie was offering a silver dollar as a bounty for a simple photo editing job. I took on the job but told him I didn't need the silver dollar. He sent it anyway, saying "A deal's a deal. Add it to your giveaway stack". So here it is.

    The prize is a decent 1923 Peace dollar. One hundred years old.

    To enter: just say you want it. But let's limit this drawing to those who do not currently own a Peace dollar. If you do have one, you can still enter on someone else's behalf. Simply name the person you'd like to have it.

    The drawing will be held sometime on or after December 1, 2023, depending on my schedule. You may consider the contest open for entries until such time as I have posted the final result of the random drawing.

    Totally free: the contest is free of charge, open to everyone, with free worldwide shipping. The only obligation is that I ask that if you win, please post to this thread later, when you have received the prize, so that we'll know you got it (that helps me keep track).

    I don't have a Peace Dollar yet, but I want that for my younger brother. He likes silver coins, and this would interest him.

    Thanks to both of you for making this happen. I cannot win this one, actually I haven't won any, but we need to see some people entering so I can pick my "give to" Coin Talker. Looking forward to this, but I thought everybody had a Peace Dollar or two.

    Mommacat stuck. She showed up in my yard with a batch of kittens. That was the name that was bestowed the day she arrived and it stuck..... Though she will never again live up to her name!

    You'd be surprised. Some folks don't- and not just the young numismatists, either. There are adult collectors who surprisingly do not own some of the classic US coin types. (For example, some of the folks who build their collections from circulation and coin roll hunting.)

    I do have peace dollars so I'd like to give it to someone else.
    I'm tempted to say Randy Abercrombie just because it amuses me to do so.
    However, if I should win, please give to @Abramthegreat.
