    I noticed the Note having a repeat #. The Note is in Very good shape also. 20231113_122729.jpg

    Not so much a "repeater" as a "stutterer". That SN hurts my head. (Also makes me think of digital electronic part numbers from the before-times...)

    It’s nice looking but not a repeater. Not really a fancy number either. It’s a Trinary Note but they aren’t really collectible. Four dollars is okay but nothing you’ll make money on.

    That's amazing because that note is pristine. I've got a stack of certificates but only 3 or four with a star in front of the serial number. You'd think they'd be worth more. Sad Panda!

    1957,s are so common, I have several *STAR* notes that are CH/CU which
    have very little value now if we were talking series 1935 maybe a conversation
    there.

    Repeater or not, it's still a silver certificate. They're keepers in my book.
