Found this 1986 Lincoln cent with some possible doubling in Liberty? Looks like an extra l after the L and before the B. Also something with the GOD We Trust. Thoughts please!.. IMG_2424.jpeg IMG_2421.jpeg IMG_2426.jpeg IMG_2422.jpeg IMG_2421.jpeg

I think it's Die Deterioration Doubling. By "In God We Trust" is what's called a ridge ring, which is also Die Deterioration.

Hi Dan - you’ll start to notice that in the mid/late 80s the dies were run pretty hard. And they were trying to figure out how to coin the Zincolns. You’ll see a bunch of odd stuff with those year. A culmination of factors.

Tks Paddyman. I have come across many zinc cents coins with this raised rim appearance. Common with zinc cents and nothing special.

Minted from a worn die. The ridge ring in the motto is a strong sign.
