The Wealth of the South tokens are the only Civil War tokens that were introduced in 1860. All of the others were issued from 1861 to ‘64. The reason for this exception is obviously the subject matter. Cincinnati die maker, John Stanton, had them made to sell to southerners. Later he marketed them to collectors. The dies were made by Benjamin True who worked in the Stanton shop.

The Wealth of the South die was probably the anvil (bottom) die, which lasted longer. The “No submission to the North” die was the striker die which wore out faster.

I have been looking for a spoot, for a while the price for problem free CWT's have exploded in the past three years. I would like to find one that matches my Spot.

Thanks I might have a chance if I bought from auction house's or ebay. But I am strictly and in hand buyer, no one to blame but me.
