People that are good at Morgan VAMs I need some help with this 1921 D

    IMG_6795.jpeg IMG_6796.jpeg IMG_6798.jpeg IMG_6797.jpeg IMG_6799.jpeg IMG_6800.jpeg Hey guys so I do not know a whole lot about VAMs besides there are a ton of different ones, and I noticed some die cracks along the reverse and was wondering if anyone had any info on this one? It’s kind of difficult to picture but can be seen clearly with naked eye. Thanks for looking!

    I’m not a VAM collector but I do see the die cracks. The cracks are nice but the coin looks like it was cleaned.

    It still has tons of mint luster and a complete cartwheel effect which is what’s throwing me for a loop, I see the scratches as well I’m not sure what’s going on lol

    Those scratches are what leads me to believe it was cleaned.

    The only notable scratches I can find in that VAM listing is on the legs ( small ) and the tail and called scribbling scratches, very fine polishing grit used on the most raised part of the die. The others are man made through use or cleaning. IMO,

    No I completely agree, it just confuses me because usually when cleaned they lose the mint luster and the scratches are prevalent not one or the other. So just a bit bamboozled lol
