1952 upsidedown/Flipped over D Nickel

Is it just me or am IS THIS Mint Mark appear Odd? like upsidedown/flipped on the reverse?

Not at all. It looks like a normal nickel to me.

 

I think it's just a dent or some other kind of damage, not a Mintmark. We'll see what others think.

Nothing special going on. Not a D mint mark. Just some circulation damage on the area in question.
And circulation wear.

 

Well circulated Philadelphia minted nickel, no D mintmark.

I’ve seen upside-down 0s, 1s and Os but never no Ds.

There is no mint mark that I can see. It was minted in Philadelphia and is very common. It’s also well worn from circulation, 71 of it.

 

Well excepting that No-D. Nice. Is that yours?

 

lol - yes. That one is mine. I had to have one and a strong reverse passed through my LCS. I snapped it up!
