    Notes: May 22, 16 - A very tentative attribution. Not seen any Hisparium coins with the letters BN above the rider.

    Sorry I'm late to this thread (and many others!), but the last few days have not allowed me to do any proper 'coining'.

    At any rate, Domitian's love of Minerva/Athena is no secret. She dominated his denarius coinage from 83 onwards. Style wise, this is probably one of my favourite examples I own.
