1987 d copper penny?

    Copper can corrode green, doesn't matter if it's a copper cent or the thin copper plating on a zinc cent.

    Are the chopsticks the same weight on both ends? I notice the pointed tip on one side and the flat on the other.

    Clearly a zinc, gas bubbles present, you don't even need to weigh it. When in doubt, use the ping test. Drop a 1981 or earlier on a hard surface and listen, it makes a ping sound, then drop the coin in question, it will land with a dull thud.
