finally died, so I bought this on eBay. I'm still learning how to use but I must say I'm impressed with it. I was trying to get a good image of the wound/arrow? on my 2000-P wounded Eagle Sac Dollar. Very impressive IMHO.
Very Nice gift to yourself! I have a handheld one with just a stand. Thinking of upgrading someday. How much do they go for on Ebay? What model is that? Nice Pics as well!
Dennis, me likey. Nice setup. How about some details? Obviously it's Elikliv brand. Magnification? Screen size? Model #, if you don't mind? Was setup easy? Seems like they make it real user friendly.
@SensibleSal66 @masterswimmer Elikliv 1200X Digital Microscope 7'' 12MP LCD Coin Microscope As far as set up.....well not to bad, but the shaft is relatively short (6"), so I'm going to adapt it to my Dino-Lite stand. I offered $60.00 for it and my offer was accepted, that was on eBay. Here's more information on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/Microscope-Elikliv-Magnification-Handheld-Observation/dp/B08BCBK6WX
Good luck with it. I spent over $400 on one these things. Every time Microsoft had a an update, it won't work. I went to Dino-Lite. They fixed the software a couple of times, but it really got to be a dog chasing its tail thing. There was never going to be a permanent resolution to the problem. In my view, the only way to get one of these to work is to have a computer that NEVER touches the Internet for updates that you use for this camera. I am an extremely unhappy customer. These things are a waste of money in my opinion. I may as well throw the one I have out in the trash. It's useless.
It looks like this is a self contained unit that doesn’t connect to a desk or lap top. If you record the pictures to clip, that would be ideal. If someone offers you a camera like this that connects to a computer, pass.
@johnmilton You are correct, this uses a sd micro card to store images. By the way mine did not come with the card, although the packing list show one included.
The one thing I notice is the image looks fine on the screen, but when I remove the SD card and insert it to my computer the color is different. I used PhotoScape to crop and changed the color by using grayscale.
Dennis? Have you ever tried a program (NO Download) called LunaPic? Excellent program! Many features too.
