Well it's in a holder so someone expects it to be nicer. The purple is a bit of an odd color so perhaps it got an "Unc Details" grade. Can't tell too much from the supplied photos. It does have an S so an unusual Indian in any event.

 

I suspect that the photog white balance is a bit out of wack.

I'm gonna say MS63, reverse shows way better than the obverse though. Wear on the feathers kept me from a 64

I'm a day late and a dollar short. I love this coin so much, I call it Purple Haze! I give a MS64.
