Thanks to all who entered the first couple giveaways. Now for the third!

I'll leave each coin up for entries for about two weeks. Then I'll draw that winner and create a new post for the next coin.

Here are the rules:

1. To enter simply state "entry post." Only one entry post per member, but you may select another member to receive the prize.

2. Tell the forum why you like the coin, post something coin related. A pet picture will always suffice if you don't have the first two things!

Entrants must have 25 coin related posts.

I'll draw the winning entrant on the evening of October 21st using a random number generator based on entry order.

The third coin is an attractive PROOF bronze 4 Doubles from Guernsey. This little British dependency lies between great Britain and France. Only 4,200 proofs were struck in 1956 making it easily the scarcer of the two proof issues for the KM#.

Graded PF 65 RB Cameo by NGC.

Such a nice coin! I have studied Guernsey and the German occupation during WWII, it would be a nice coin to have from a place with a lot of history.

That is a beautiful coin. I confess I didn't know anything about Guernsey, so thanks for the opportunity to do some research. Of course I don't have a related coin to post a picture of, so I'll go with the standard fall-back of the pet picture. When you are a spoiled princess puppy, at dinner time you can expect to get hand-fed.
