I came across a 2020 quarter and it looks like it might be a mistake but I'm not sure. It look like it made it through the machine that rolled the edge up and something happened during the stamping process. Can anyone help me get info on it? Edit The quarter weighs 5.29 grams. The wight of a good quarter from the same year is 5.68 grams.

Although your pictures are horrible, it looks like you found a dryer coin. Constantly rolling around in a dryer will curl up the rim and abrade both sides. …imo…Spark
No, you can see someone messed with it. Give people with too much time the right tools and these funny things happen. I'd just keep it if for no better reason than it's just a good example of too much time + too much tools = coins that look like this.
