Hello, everyone, and welcome to the latest giveaway. This will be another one of my "pick your prize" contests, so you can hopefully win something you'll like.

The prize for this contest will be your choice of an item from one of the following lots.

Pick one of the following lots:

    Lot 1
Roman Provincial (Moesia, Nicopolis): ca. 193-211 AD bronze Æ17 of Septimius Severus
Click link for original dealer listing with images of old collector tag, etc.

    Lot 2
Roman Empire: ca. 238-244 AD silver antoninianus of Gordian III, Hercules reverse
Click link for original dealer listing.

    Lot 3
Southern India: ca. 1700-1830 gold fanam
Tiny, but cool. Cat hair not included.

    Lot 4
USA: pair of Seated Liberty dimes (1850 & 1854-O)
Click link to see reverse photos.

    Lot 5
Peru: 1900-JF silver dinero, 1900/898 overdate, PCGS MS64+
In a PCGS Gold Shield holder w/TrueView images. Click link for cert page. A stunning near-Gem example. I'd have added it to my personal collection if I didn't already have a half-dinero in MS67!

    Lot 6
    Three silver US half dollars
An 1893 Columbian Exposition commemorative, a 1943 Walking Liberty, and a 1962-D Franklin. (Reverse pics here.)

    Lot 7
United States: 1937-D Lincoln Wheat cent, PCGS MS66 RD
    Click for reverse pic.

    Lot 8
Fifty dollars credit plus free shipping towards anything I have for sale
(See link for listings). No, this lot is not a $50 bill. It's a discount voucher. This option is for someone who might want a more valuable prize, though you'll have to pay me any difference remaining after your $50 discount.

To enter: all you have to do is say that you want in, and specify which lot you would like if you should happen to win the random drawing. Also a word or two about why you want it, or some other coin-related comment of your choice. Only one entry post per contestant, please.

You may enter on someone else's behalf if you do not desire the prize for yourself. Simply state who you would like to receive it, should your entry win the drawing.

The drawing will be held sometime on or after November 1, 2023, depending on my schedule. You may consider the contest open for entries until such time as I have posted the final result of the random drawing.

Totally free: the contest is free of charge, open to everyone, with free worldwide shipping. The only obligation is that I ask that if you win, please post to this thread later, when you have received the prize, so that we'll know you got it (that helps me keep track).

    Good luck!

    Numismatic regards,

    ~Robertson ("Rob") Shinnick ("LordM")

I’m in for Lot 6. But not for myself. My niece Emily is a budding YN, so they will go to her. She’s almost 14 and lives in the Houston, Texas area.

I’ve worked with her on Lincoln cents regarding high spots on both sides and teaching her the basics of grading…Spark

Thanks for the contest. I would like #4 if I win. 1854 is 100 years before I was born.

Gotta go for lot 6, as I love half dollars and only have a 1892 Columbia’s Exposition. It’s close though as that dime lot keeps calling my name….
