1983 Lincoln cent

    These are bubbles. When considering a strike through, consider voids and relief. Reverse thinking needs to be applied and consideration of where the effect takes place (e.g., in the field or a device the design or the rim, etc.).

    As above, linear plating bubble. Much was left to be desired when the Mint changed the composition in the copper plating. It still exists today but to a lesser degree.

    Definitely a plating bubble that’s on an angle.

    Plating blisters and bubbles can appear in any shape you can imagine.
