This one has an obverse lamination. I found this in a bag of 5000 wheat cents that I bought years ago. I finally went through the bag while I was recovering from my knee surgery. It’s a nice looking 1919 wheat cent.
Then I have this one. I was having a bad day when I took these photos but it is as the label from PCGS states.
This one IS wicked.... A genuine fake copper 1943. Beautiful copper color, and sticks to a magnet like nobody's business.
Hey Robec! So I looked through your website and, wow. It's absolutely amazing! I'm very happy that the people who pushed you to make the website did. I would love to know what editing software you use to make your photos like this. For example the white marble background, etc. Keep up the great work and I'm happy to pick up any information I stumble across that you've given here in the forums. Talk to you soon, Happy Hunting ~ TheColoradoNumismatist
Here's my 1909 S-VDB. I promise you won't get retina burn from the brilliance! But, I've got it, and am very thankful to have it.
Well, I just hurriedly looked at your site, definitely will go back and look better, but I just had to stop and say, "WOW"!!! I can only guess the amount of time and energy you put into your collection. Amazing! Yours is MS, so I guess mine is BS, lol. I very glad for you, and happy that you were able to assemble it, and that you took your time to set it up so that myself, and others can see it. I very much enjoyed your collection, and, believe it or not, I very much enjoy my collection. This is my hobby, and I am enjoying it and having fun, too. Ok, back to your site. Thanks again
Here is an interesting one: NGC believes this one was struck with retired proof dies since it has the markers of a 1910 proof but lacks the sharpness and fully squared rims.
