I made frames with an explanation of seach display. I'll probably do that for a few here, but all of you know what you're looking at. The next display will be the 2009 cents. Then do the nickels that include a historic evolution to the 5c nickel. The 21st century nickels I will go (my kids will) to 2050. IMG_10.JPG IMG_11.JPG IMG_12.JPG IMG_14.JPG The Buffalo Nickel is complete. I had one each of the Buffalo TypeI and TypeIIin 1913 with the reverse showing. Didn't realize someone picked it up and turned it obverse up. Someday it will be re photographed.

I Cantrell with Randy! Great looking display! But zI have to ask, what’s the woman of the house think about that? My wife would throw a fit if I did that.

    Quite a display lardan,
Hope you have an adequate home alarm system, as well. You should be very proud of your efforts in putting this collection together. I certainly would be.

I'm not sure what you mean. Your wife doesn't allow you to have displays of coins all over the house. No, really I set these up on Saturday, and brought them down Sunday morning. All I had to do was tweak them after carrying them down the stairs. Danielle, my sons, and I set up the lighting. I need more lighting, you'll see what I mean by the time I'm done. So far the biggest issue is the dates don't show up well on the Buffalos as well as Liberty on the IHC war bonnet. I built a holder for the displays and Danielle made a sleeve for me for storage. All the coins have been returned to the bank. I have to say she is also very happy with what we accomplished on a budget even though I broke through it many times. I,m going to post some more.

Amazing! This is exactly what I would dream of doing. You could almost open a museum with your displays. Congratulations!

Next will be the 21st century Roosevelt Dimes and the kids will end it in 2046. Due to all the building and painting this set is so incomplete I started to not put it on display. But, due to the display being built I did. I hope to bring it up to date by the end of this year. Following the 21st century dimes we will move on to quarters. IMG_20.JPG IMG_21.JPG IMG_22.JPG IMG_24.JPG IMG_26.JPG The three folders our kids I accidentally skipped it. I'll put it in on my next post.

First is my three state quarter folders I skipped my kids did with Danielleand I. Next will be dollars. Lighting was bad especially the 5 oz. quarters. The dollar ighting is poor especially as far as the Peace Dollars are concerned. The lighting does them no justice, a redo for all the dollars are in the future. Now th American Silver Eagels will be displayed. Originally I made a small display for the TypeII ASE, but had no room left to display them so I just put two on the lower right side of the display. The last dislay the half cent in upper right is actually an AU, but it just doesn't photo well. Someone messed the last display somewhat picking up coins, but should have expected it IMG_34.JPG IMG_35.JPG IMG_36.JPG IMG_37.JPG IMG_38.JPG

That is all of our displays. This was the first time my family and I ever saw all the coins at one time. On the Memorial Cents probably 25 to 35% of the non proofs were obtained by roll searching. On the 20th century dimes probably 20 to 25% of the non proofs were obtained by roll searching. Regarding the 21st century nickels and dimes probably 80 to 85% of the non proofs were obtained by roll searching. It took years to do this, starting about 20 years ago for the types listed here.

I'm 75 now and like I stated I have wanted to do this for years. I doubt very seriously if I will ever do this again even though all the displays we kept. Now the family is aware of what we have. To me right now is the contents of the frame explanations need to be retyped, I was in a hurry when I did it.

Thanks for all the comments I'm sure it is easy to see how much I enjoyed this. And I finally learned how to post photos here at least from a thumb drive. I still need to learn how to do from a phone, but I will. Again, thanks for the views and comments.

My edit: After I finished with all the likes and comments I was very humbled, again thanks.

Lovely set but I just thought I'd ask about the Ikes. Shouldn't there be 32?

The coins of course are awesome but I just love those display frames.
