    This is my first CC.
And, I would have been very suspect of this coin, if I didn't pay just over melt for it. The coin weighs and measures out.
    Was it cleaned?
What grade would you give it? 20160717_135725.jpg 20160717_135805.jpg

Low ms for me, looks more like it was wire brushed, then cleaned with chemicals ....

Really? A little over melt for a CC? Congrats on that one!
Looks almost like it was tossed in a tumbler with a bunch of BB's.

It has a lot of lustre. After looking at it, a little more. I am thinking LDS, still not sure.

I actually went in to check out 4 halves. There was a 1908 Barber half, with a high price on it. I wanted to see if it was an S.
They had five new Morgan's. I saw the CC and said "Sold!"

The funny thing is they wanted 50$ for the Barber.

Funny thing about Barber halves - "LIBERTY" wears off fast on the headband/wreath and coins with any remaining letters usually sells for a premium. With full "LIBERTY" the asking price is quite high.

At a little over melt you hit it out of the park. Congrats!

I didn't mention the Barber was a G4 at best.
It had a good skin though!

If so does that make it UNC details, Details, or Au Details?

The UNC/AU Details, Cleaned (somehow) looks like a winner - don't waste your money getting it graded at that!! Probably AU-58/MS60

Mid/upper AU details, cleaned...I do wonder just what would make the surfaces look peppered like this....doesn't really look whizzed to my eye....nice buy for the money!

Thanks for the answers, I am not planning on sending it in for grade, it is only a hole filler in the dansco. I have my eyes on an 84 CC GSA
Looks 64-65. Fair price at 200$
