The Heritage auction that closed yesterday is interesting because multiple cameo coins closed way higher than gray sheet on check this out
Those coins are beautiful. I am hesitant to go to auctions because I am prone to overbid. Are there any dealers that have some coins in the kind of shape shown above? I'm 75 and unable to travel long distance to look at them. I seldom buy from ebay and I can't go to shows. Any ideas?
Amongst individuals that constantly follow sales of coins above MS63, many believe the CDN "Grey Sheet" document to be fantasy!
I believe there are many to be found on eBay: https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p3519243.m570.l1313&_nkw=barber+MS67+half&_sacat=0 I also can't locate locally that which I prefer, but locate MS69/70 and PR/PF coins of which I haven't found a problem, other than USPS. You might consider other coin types/sellers who appear to understand "proper presentation", where returns aren't necessitated! JMHO
The heritage auction I’m talking about has online bidding. I’ve never been disappointed or upset about a purchase with them. they also have two digit coin auctions and up
