Okay, don't hit me. I'm old. Especially after your dilemma on the other thread.... I see die chips and some damage to the date. Also, it's important to at least show one whole side of the coin. Thanks!
One could be assured it didn't come from the mint looking like this. Harsh force, maybe road or parking lot damage. The area shown is too small to tell. IMO, Jim Man up Sal!!
There are no P Mint Marks on any Lincoln Cents .. Only D and S Only the 2017 had a P Mint Mark. Special edition.
Oh.. I now understand what you meant The hit on the surface looks like mint mark but it's not.. makes cents, I mean sense
Even if it's anything, look at it, who cares? This is what you call starting off in the hobby on the wrong track.
Recent postings have had me humming and singing out Warren Zevon's "Mr.Excitable" ,"Mr. Bad Example", and " Poor , poor , pitiful me". I used to play these on my way to the college to get me ready Much younger then.
Obviously it’s taken a number of hits, scraps and other forms of damage. That’s a Philadelphia issued coin, not Denver.
