Hello CT-ers Looking for best or as-good-as-it-gets U.S. wheat cent reference book that lists as many varieties as are presently known. e.g. RPM's, DD's, etc. Thanks for any & all suggestions, J.T.
Thanks Charley, It is a bit surprising that a comprehencive reference book has not been published listing the many varieties of not only wheat cents but Lincoln memorials as well. Maybe some day, J.T.
Have you reviewed Looking Thru Lincoln Cents (there are 2 volumes...not just 1) or have you visited the website I mentioned, that is a comprehensive on-going never ending reference by the Author of the book(s)? I don't think you are going to find any better targeted information source. Chuck is and was the most dedicated knowledgeable Author for the series, 2nd to none. In the pre-publishing years, even with the personal and constant struggles economically and socially and physically, he was not sidetracked. I do not expect anyone will come forth to do so, or have the mix of talents and tenacity required. Truth in editing: added a "d" where appropriate.
