What did you carve them with?

 

I use hand engravers- hammer and chisel also. I also nade an engraver from a tire compressor that mimics the energy from an engraving hanmer- it has a piston inside the handpiece and its mobile. The gravers are sharpened carbide and hss steel sharpened to with a 105 degree template.

 

How long did THAT take?

And is that Freddie Mercury in the first photo, bottom right?

 

So are you going to sell these as recreations or what?

I sold them to a coin dealer!

 

Did he believe they were real?

Of course they are real, just like those from 100 years ago, these are just newer.

 

I hope so! There are fewer carvers than there were a few years ago! I collect also and I hope more people start carving them!
