Not wizardry, just a lot of hours getting my paws filthy from traipsing through many many thousands of cents - sometimes bags of 5000-10000. Lately because of being busy with work etc I have cut back to just one credit union's receipts.

 

Congrats! I got started in coin collecting when I was 5... got into my Grandpa's pennies and pulled 163 wheats... that was over 43 years ago...

 

Welcome. Keep looking in rolls, you will never know what you will find! You're never too young to coin collect, stay awhile.

 

The more you search, the more you find... the simple law of averages at work... though when I am having a good run, such as the War Nickels and Buffalos at one of my local branches as I am now, I tend to stack those odds more in my favor by buying more coins from there...
