This is an amazing Cent. It’s the only one I’ve ever seen and I received it in a mint sealed bag. Lol At least that was the way the ad read. It was a mint bag that still had stitching seeing it. It didn’t cost much and there were some nice early date Wheat Cents inside.

So can I claim this was a mint sealed wheat bag that contained a square Cent with slightly rounded corners? LOL

It’s dated 1928 and except for being square it’s not in bad shape. I’m afraid to ask as I know what I’m going to hear, but how did the mint produce this? Is this a trial piece? Something new that didn’t work out? I await all responses. LOl

The mint didn't produce that cent. First mint sealed bags are not made up of multi year coins. Second there are raised edges that imply the struck coin was cut.

I see you missed all of my Lol’s, all 3 of them. I just couldn’t resist the chance this Cent produced because of what we see and read, almost on a daily basis. Sorry, but I couldn’t resist my friend.

Yes they do. I for one, could never think of doing something like this.

It may have been done in the thirties as people were desperate to pinch pennys any way they could. Besides, the cut marks and angle indicate that a Keen Kutter shear was used to… oh forget it. I can’t finish I’m cracking myself up too much.

What Did you pay? The coin is a relic. I would make it a centerpiece in a drawer of the new cabinet, Mr antique. I have three new cabinets to fill.
    A chinese dark side Cabinet.
