Help Identifying Medal

Can anyone identify this medal?

It's Swiss, but that's about all I can tell you.

 

A group of people living in the countryside applied to join the Swiss war effort to help defend the major town. They became known as The District Protection League. It was dispanded some years after the war. It is a commemorative medal and the only one I could find was sold for $22. Hope this helps a bit.

 

I am guessing that the "PEKA" on both sides of the medal is a manufacturer or "mintmark".

 

I was able to find another medal on Numista searching PEKA. It says that was the engraver. It was also a swiss medal.
