Look at the edge.
On the originals, the edge was not plated.
The steel stock was zinc plated before the blanks were punched.

Not the greatest photos. I'm guessing reprocessed, but I will wait for other opinions.

 

I just broke it out of this old plastic holder, says they are genuine on the back but I was suspicious still. Hope I get it figured out

 

I agree, doesn't look like the original zinc wash/plating, may have been cleaned and then replated to look original, but then I still believe in the Easter bunny, so ?

 

Everyone knows the Easter bunny is real.

 

Of course he is. He's also related to the Tooth Fairy and Santa Claus.

By genuine they just mean they are real coin, it doesn't guarntee the steel cent isn't replated. Even replated the coin is still genuine.
