This one comes with a bit of a funny story... You see I bid on this EXACT coin on Heritage just last month..(begining of june so almost 2 months ago) The price went higher then I was willing to pay once all the buyers fees were added up (near double listed value) Tonight I snagged it off the bay FOR list price. I almost feel guilty :D (do weasels feel guilt??? hehe)
anyhoo, here's my new pretty... guess away :D

What is a Dcam on an 1885o Morgan? I assume the posters meant DMPL? I do not see DMPL indications, but I will go 64 PL.

I was gonna say something but decided to just assume they meant DMPL/PL :D

MS 64 PL ....the reverse has some stronger hits but the obverse fields are fairly clean and I think that is enough to carry the 64 grade.

A coupe heavy hits on the reverse. I’m gonna say MS64PL.

Interesting the the consensus was 64 but it's a 62. Even though the reverse is baggy, that seems on the harsh side. 63 would have been a good compromise.

I could be happy at 63, given the reverse. 62 seems low for that coin.

I agree. 62 is a grade too low but 63 would be correctly, at least in my book.

I feel the same way. I almost went 63PL but I read everyone else’s posts and thought I was being too harsh.

    62 is too harsh.
