Includes full pound round, 16 avoir-dupois oz., 10 troy oz. octagonal, 5 troy oz. round, 1 troy oz. round and 1 troy oz. '86 U.S. mint. The company has changed hands and doesn't seem to have an answer as to its worth and nothing on ebay. I'm a newbie doing my first post (hopefully). Any ideas?
Looks like roughly 30.5 ounces of silver, not including the 1986 ASE. That avdp 16 oz I converted to troy ounces (453.592 grams in a avdp pound, 453.592g/31.1g to convert it into troy ounces = 14.58 troy ounces). I didn't include the ASE in the total silver count because if it's in uncirculated condition besides the toning you should be able to get a premium for it being that it's the first year issue.
Not real sure but I like it...A Lot...so if you eBay it you will get MORE than Silver for sure. Edit : A Lot more http://www.ebay.com/itm/19-25-oz-Silver-Eagles-Nest-Set-1969-SKU-64354-/111557453727 http://www.apmex.com/product/64354/19-25-oz-silver-eagles-nest-set-1969 https://www.liveauctioneers.com/item/22995611_silver-eagles-nest-coin-set-1969
The toning on the ase might get it a very small premium but nothing special. I do like the set though. Nice bit of silver in there
