Damn Nice barber... Yeah I think it would straight grade but I'd let the Barber experts chime in :D

It sure looks nice but Barbers are not one of my favorite coins.

Please let me know what you think the grade is and what it is worth. Thanks all.

I can’t tell from the pics… is there lustre present? From blowing up the provided pics the bust seems kinda rough.

Very handsome coin to say the least. I would think it would get a MS65 grade (NGC price guide Approx. $5500).
Good luck if you have it graded and keep us posted. :)

The coin was worked on but I'm not sure what was done to get that look. Maybe wizzed.

    Yes, it does have luster.

I’ve never seen one cleaned as nice. Super high grade I’m guessing if not cleaned

I just couldn’t tell from the pics. I’m think it should grade pretty well then. I don’t know enough about the series to guess a value, but I’m hoping for good results for you.

Might just be the pics, coins are tricky to photograph for me anyway, but I'm with the guys who think the surfaces look off. I'd be worried about a MS details grade.

A blast white coin of this vintage has most likely been dipped at the very least, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, if it was properly done.

That texture doesn't look right at all. My first thought was "polished"; I don't see the haloes around devices that I'd expect, but I also don't see any trace whatsoever of original luster, which I'd definitely expect to see with a coin holding this much detail. The obverse roughness worries me, too.

Sure looks awfully lifeless to me for a coin retaining so much detail . . . I think this coin has been ruined.

My first thought is a polished coin.

Yeah, I as well think it has been dipped, but it does have luster, so it was not a long dip. What do you think grade might be?

If it were original, it would be a high MS coin. But I still say it doesn't look right.

You say you're seeing luster, but all I'm seeing is "shiny". Can you post photos at different angles to the light, so we can see what the luster looks like? (Do you have it in hand?)

It's definitely dipped. No 120-year coin looks like that. To determine whether it's market acceptable we need pictures that show how it reacts with the light. If it's market acceptable it will straight grade. These pictures make it look like a piece of cardboard. All we can tell from these is it's a technical gem, not that it will straight grade.

    Pass. 5X tells the story...also O, O, O, O.

If this piece was what some are opining, it is a 30K piece. No...Nada. Upso. Nyet. Na.9and some other stuff).
