What do y'all think? Send it in for grading or not? Sellers pics. I think it may get full steps.

I would say its not worth it. Honestly looks AU to me in places. Maybe its just the pics.

To keep, definitely, but not to grade. Nice toning on it.

Nice coin but does not appear to be full steps, in hand might be better. To many nicks and dings, I would not send it to a TPG, but it is a keeper. Thanks for sharing.

Enough people I know on here answered the same way I would have answered.

There is a thread here on CT and at the PCGS site that has a question about QA stickers. The thread at PCGS started with a Jefferson nickel that had a QA sticker on it. The coin definitely was generously graded. Later in the thread someone posted some auction pricing on 1960 Jefferson nickels in an apple to oranges comparison of how PCGS out performs NGC on resell value. So I went and looked up these Jefferson nickels with full steps from 1960. There was a nickel that had auctioned at Stacks Bowers PCGS MS65 FS. It sold for $2400.

The coin I posted is the coin that was sold at Stacks Bowers.

Flip worthy nickel. But not slab worthy in my opinion.
