    Nope, nada.

@IdesOfMarch01 mentioned holding off payment till I can confirm it is in the same condition as the auction photo. Unfortunately i've already paid with bank transfer so I really don't have any recourse if there is a problem.

Ken Dorney Yea, I'm Cool That Way...

So....this is really weird, kind of Twilight Zone Strange. I am not sure how or why this happened so fast, but I have been chastised publicly (to my mind, without reason). Now, I assume the moderators may ban this thread, but alas, they have kind of created it. I posted this, I think correctly, just an opinion:

This comment caused one member to complain to the moderators, and subsequent posts were edited. Not sure why. I cant imagine it honestly was offensive to anyone, but apparently it was to one member and also a moderator. Here is the response:

Ken - Below are the rules - I don't get paid to do this but like to have the forum be a productive place to learn and talk about coins and currency. If you cannot appreciate that, I will be glad to issue infractions. Last warning.

**I dont get paid either, but I contribute, and I am sure, overall, members appreciate my comments. I do appreciate that this forum is productive, its why I am here and contributing. I dont know anything about 'infractions'. 'Last warning', well, there never was a first. I have no idea what is going on here.

1 - There will be absolutely no cursing or swearing allowed. Any words that wouldn't have been aired in a 1950s television show, are unwelcome here as well.
This is includes what some have come to do on a regular basis. Some people seem to think that replacing 1 or 2 letters of a word with a *, a #, or whatever other symbol, makes it OK to use bad language.
Well it doesn't ! Do you really think that using a $ in place of an S makes it so that people cannot see what the word is ?
Here's the deal, those members who continue to use symbols in place of letters resulting in language that is not permitted here are going to start receiving Infractions for their actions.

**I am guilty here. I did indeed make comments that included ***** instead of letters to indicate curse words. I am sorry for that and did not intend to offend anyone, its why I used the "****"!

2 – Personal attacks are not permitted. All Coin Talk members, young, old and in between, will treat all other members with respect and be civil at all times. You are expected to act as responsible individuals, there will be no name calling or flame wars.

**I never attacked anyone personally. Anyone can see this.

Cyber bullying will not be tolerated. And it is up to the sole discretion of the Moderators as to what does, or does not, constitute cyber bullying; as are the consequences for such.

**Well, obviously I offended ONE person. And a moderator got involved.
Certainly there was no 'bullying'. Anyone can see that.

    8 – Subjects we don’t discuss here
Basically it’s common sense. Just about every person on the planet has heard the saying – “never discuss politics and/or religion”. Why ? Because it starts fights, arguments and causes nothing but hate and discontent. If you wish to discuss politics and or religion, then go someplace else. We don’t allow it here.

**There obviously was no discussion about politics or religion on my part. Not that I see. Possibly politics (in an extreme sense).

When I was chastised on a PM by the moderator, my response was this:

"With your permission, I would like to respond publicly."

    The response was this:

"You do not need my permission to continue posting in this or any other thread. I just want a place where all feel welcome regardless of where they are from or what their level of collecting is."

I agree with his statement, but I am not sure that this post and answer will survive the editing process. Truly, I have no idea why one member was offended. And I have no idea why I was censored. I would love to hear some feedback!

Just my two cents...I have tremendous respect for you. I think you are a great dealer and valuable contributor here...but perhaps these questions are best addressed via private PM with the moderators, and not publicly. I'd hate to see you get infractions for airing your grievances publicly.

Well, this is an American forum site, and I am European, and it may well be that the American members mostly agree with what you write here. But don't you think it would be helpful to focus on the specific topic?

I can't speak for most Americans, but I do not believe this way about Europeans. I have the utmost respect for Europeans in general, and some Europeans specifically. Now back to coins.

When you finally get a response from the auction house (and I'm sure you will at some point) you might want to consider holding onto the coins you currently have until you get the coin you won. This may not be strictly legal, but I don't see any other recourse if the coin you won is not returned to them, or is in a different condition from what was illustrated when you bid on it.

For the record, the drama is over and done with. I suggest you all keep it that way. I believe for most my suggestion will be more than enough. But for those who don't know me, it had better be.

Wow.........Hades in a handbasket real quick. For a second there, I thought I was in the US forums. The wisest of the wise made the suggestion to take it private and not keep slugging it out (like we [me] do in the US forums), and risk getting the thread locked. Quite frankly, I want to find out how it all pans out for Nemo.

I want to find out what happens to Nemo and the coins too, but I also want to find out when you are going to take the plunge into the dark side and acquire some ancients?

Well, I'm about to post a giveaway of coins in the next 20 minutes on a first come first serve basis. Perhaps it would be a good opportunity for you to get another one, and this time free of charge.

My family and I were at the beach for vacation 2 weeks ago. Being the adventurer in the family, after a few adult beverages, I went on a latenite excursion on the beach in search of ghost crabs. Wandering around with a flashlight, I discovered a lost wallet.
I picked it up and noticed it was next to a set of foot prints. I followed the footprints for a couple hundred yards and walked up on a couple scrabbling to cover up. The funny part was when I asked if they had lost a wallet and the guy couldn't find his shorts.

Exciting two week update!!! No response at all. I've sent repeated emails to every contact in the auction house. Nothing.

It is interesting that after getting the original auction invoice I asked if I could pay with paypal or credit card and I got an instant response that they only take bank transfer. So I can confirm someone is on the other side.

I've been sent a wrong lot by CNG, it was resolved within a couple days. This is bizarre.
