We all know that the Japanese invaded many countries and when they did so they
Created there own currency, i have posted some of mine from the Philippines
This is similar to Military Payment Certificates we used in such countries as Korea
    and Vietnam.

I wish I was at home. I have tons of these. I was able to pick one up that was cancelled and had American Anti-Japanese propaganda on the back. It's pretty cool. They used to drop those on the Japanese to lower moral.

those would be similar to safe conduct passes i assume ,which were dropped
In Vietnam and Iraq, i guess they took a short cut and just used the backs
    of notes like this

MPC and occupation currency are not similar. They served distinctly different purposes. The only thing they have in common is they were both issued by military authorities.

Occupation currency was issued by the occupying authority in the unit of currency of the occupied country (or at favorable exchange rates in the case of German Reichskreditkassenscheine and Japanese Military Yen in China) to compel the occupied country to pay the cost of the occupation. Occupation currency is used for troop pay and for acquisition of goods and services by the occupying power. Occupation currency is intended to be absorbed into the economy of the occupied country.

Military Payment Certificates were only issued to US military personnel as troop pay. They were not legal tender in the host country. They were not used for acquisition of goods and services by the US military. MPC was intended to segregate the US military economy from the economy of the host country.

Yep. I don't know why they wrote it in english. I don't think a lot of the Japanese would have known what it said.

The Co-Prosperity Sphere message was aimed at the Filipinos, not the Japanese.

kind of the point i was trying to make as far as the dropping of the notes
in English which makes no sense at all, since most of the people in the
Philippines speak (filipino) There are some 175 languages other then
English spoken there in addition to Taglog, so with that said something
like that written in English would not have the desired a since a huge
part the population didnt even speak it let alone read it

The Co-Prosperity Sphere notes were dropped only on Manila and Northern Luzon in December 44 or January 45. They were not dropped over any other part of the country.
