I have searched and researched to find out which Federal Reserve city a U serial number is from. I have a 1934d $5 Silver Certificate U32019623A and I am now so curious, because not even the Goog or Wiki could produce any information.
I would like to know more about this bill specifically. Thank you for any assistance!

Silver Certificates are different than Federal Reserve Notes. The prefix letter on Silver Certificates has nothing to do with federal reserve districts. Apples and oranges

    +1

If you'd like to fully understand the BEP's Federal Reserve Banks, Serial numbers & Block system then I would encourage you to check out this US Currency Education Program site on Banknote Identifiers & Symbols. It really helped me start to understand this system.

If you'd like to understand more about WORLD & other currencies, please feel free to peruse my Notaphilyc SITES & FORUMS page, which lists a lot of other useful online info on collecting currency, including other useful sites on US currency.
