Attached is a German coin that I got at my local coin shop. It was sold to me pretty cheap and I didn't think much of it at the time. When I finally got around to looking at it closely I noticed that it did not have a date and looked old. I can't seem to find this coin in KM and I really would appreciate it if some of the experts on these forums can help me identify the origins of this coin. Maybe the coin is from the early 90's or even earlier; but I am not sure. Any assistance is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Plain edge...no writing whatsoever. Does this coin look familiar at all to anyone? Thanks in advance.
I make mass purchases at my LCS and when I quickly looked at it and I saw that it said 5 Euros...didn't pay attention to date...but if I can't find it then I am going to get money back for it. Thanks for everyone's input...if anyone knows where I could begin to start looking for this coin...it would be highly appreciated.
