Pics are a bit far out, but seller says toned and prooflike. I see some spots that could be wear or just inconsistent toning. Also wondering if its an old cleaning or just weirdly toned over the years. More experienced eyes, where would this grade? https://www.ebay.com/itm/285337697265?
No way to tell from those pictures, except that yes, it was mistreated at some point. I don't think those photos would let anyone accurately estimate a grade. I'm not even sure they'd allow authentication, although it doesn't look like a cheap fake. It does look like it might have been a nice coin before all the tattoos.
Usually when a seller posts bad pictures, they are up to something. Bad pictures get me to turn the page or hit the “X” on my browser very quickly.
Somebody paid $1175 for it. It looks like horrible PVC damage to me. What cracks me up is the image background, with the safety swabs and a tub of Vaseline.
Horrible pictures. Pass. First warning the coin is not special. Second warning, uncertified. Not running to buy it.
