Trouble With My 1916-D Mercury Dime!

Just bought this dime and I cannot get it to fit into my album!

Counterfeit?based on your pictures it looks like the size of a quarter to me,who did you buy it from?.

 

I know, I only paid $2.00 for it. Thought it was kind of cool.

Saw is a little over kill. Pound it in with a hammer but try not to damage the coin

 

Remove it from the 2 x 2 and tape it into your album. Then it will fit just fine. And since it’s a counterfeit it just won’t matter. Nice pick up though for two bucks.
